Stories are how we make sense of the world – passing wisdom to the next generation, sharing our highest values and habitual vices, the lessons learned through myth, history, and our lived experiences.

Cultures are defined by the stories they preserve.
People understand each other – and ourselves – through the stories we tell.
So why wouldn’t we share information about our business the same way?

The O&co Origin Story
Nate Odegard, founder of O&co, was born in Santa Fe New Mexico. His parents worked in the world of fine art and many of his first memories are of classic Native American works.
Though he struggled to read at an early age due to his Dyslexia, he always had an active imagination and was drawn to the great tales of his time, like Lord Of The Rings and Star Wars.
In University, he studied myriad things, settling into a pursuit of a Creative & Technical Writing degree and graduating Magna Cum Laude after publishing a collection of short stories and poems.
Despite being inundated with corporate job prospects due to his prestigious and versatile degree (lol), he went to work as a snowboarding instructor in Colorado to spend time in nature and reflect on his career goals.
Then, the 2020 Pandemic struck global society. Much was shrouded in confusion, but one thing was clear – businesses would need to learn how to navigate the increasingly digital marketplace.
After creating websites for an old employer and his parents’ businesses, he realized that his skills as a communicator could serve others when offered as marketing services.
He began freelancing, providing SEO, social media, and website copywriting. He cultivated a network of graphic designers, media producers, website developers, and marketing managers.
The first day of 2022, Nate O started Odegard & Company, a full service marketing agency specializing in content marketing, brand design, and website development.
Now, O&co have helped all kinds of businesses get started, attract better customers, and establish themselves as thought leaders in their diverse industries.

Fellow Denver based creative entrepreneur, Samuel Vickery is a multi-talented media producer with a knack for finding himself at the right place in the right time. His expertise and equipment are geared toward travel, so destination shoots are on. Sam and Nate collaborate on an array of media projects from studio grade commercials to paper-napkin scripted selfies.

Stav is a website developing wizard. He’s been working on websites for the past 15 years, and creates custom WordPress websites better than anyone. When he isn’t in the matrix, you can (or probably can’t) find him hiking trails throughout the SouthWest.

Meeting on the mountain while training to be snowboard instructors, Keaton helped Nate learn the ropes of entrepreneurship. Now, Keaton runs his own agency, The Surf & Snow Collective – they help adventure companies market their businesses.
Based in beautiful Bishop California, James is a talented creative. He specializes in graphic design, especially skilled in developing brand guidelines that will serve brands across all marketing channels. He also develops intuitive user experiences on Webflow, which we often include in our E3.
