Better Brand Design Starts Here

Introducing: The Entrepreneurial 3ssentials (E3) — Brand Design For Small Businesses And Startups

If you’ve ever started a business, you know it’s not easy. Having a solid product is one thing—positioning that product in the competitive marketplace is another. At O&Co, we created the Entrepreneurial 3ssentials (E3) to help small businesses take a small, meaningful step forward in the long business development journey.
A logo, a website, and business cards might sound simple, and you may wonder “is that really all I need to get my business out there?”
This blog goes on to answer that question in depth… but the short answer is: yes.
O&co have relied on our preliminary brand design assets for almost four years now – that’s some serious runway! Having now served a substantial clientele with this product and seen them grow, we’re  confident as can be that these three essential brand design assets are what every entrepreneur needs to attract better customers and be taken seriously.
In this blog, we’ll share:
  1. How the E3 came to be
  2. What’s inside the package
  3. Why it’s the best bet for early-stage entrepreneurs

How The Entrepreneurial 3ssentials Came To Be

In 2022, fresh to Denver and fresh to entrepreneurship, I (Nate O) launched O&Co after years of working in content marketing. With ambition galore and a solid product, I joined a local BNI (Business Networking International) chapter, the Strategic Partners to grow my reach.
Beyond anything else, I was attracted to this group because the people who made up the group were impressive. Deb Guy, The Real Estate Agent was a top Re-Max performer in the nation, Bruce Oyler, the Insurance Agent was a well known Denver Icon, Kelly Moore, the Yoga Instructor provider spoke with clarity and confidence. Though the 30+ members were in all different fields and thus had rather different marketing needs, there was a pattern present–all notable networks had at least three things: a logo, a website, and business cards. So, that’s what I set out to make for myself.
  • Logo: With help from a designer friend (Studio rh), we created a simple monogram that made my business recognizable.
  • Website: A basic WordPress site gave me credibility, a digital footprint to share, and a content management system to grow with.
  • Business Cards: No more scribbling my name/number on a napkin after coffee. Professionally printed cards with a QR code made connecting easy.
Armed with these tools, I went from “the nice new guy in the room” to “the exciting new business on the block.” When I first shared my business cards with the group, traffic began flowing to my website. Referrals started coming my way. Other business owners could see that I was here to stay, that my services were to be taken seriously, and my reputation began to develop as I dreamed it would.
Soon, other new members wanted the same setup. “I want what you did for your business,” multiple people said. Interesting. I realized that this wasn’t just a way to establish my personal brand, it was the way to help the everyday entrepreneur who is starting a business. The three brand design assets, packaged together, created an affordable and effective starter kit for the business development journey. And that’s how the Entrepreneurial 3ssentials product was born.

Brand Design: What Is A Brand, Anyway?

The word “brand” comes from cattle ranchers marking their livestock to show ownership and identity. It was about recognition: knowing which herd was yours.
Today, the principle is the same. A brand is recognition. It’s how customers know your business is distinct from all the others.
Your logo, website, and business cards are the modern “brand marks.” They aren’t decoration—they’re signals. They tell the world: this is who we are, this is what we stand for, and this is why you’ll remember us.
And in the early days of your business, recognition is everything. Without it, your growth stalls before it even starts.

Proof That Brand Design Pays Off

Branding isn’t just about polish—it’s about presence.
“Every interaction in any form, is branding.” – Seth Godin
When your logo, website and business cards all tell the same story, they create brand recognition. Recognition builds trust. And trust drives sales because people do business with people they know, like and trust.
The numbers back it up: businesses with consistent branding across platforms can increase revenue by 20–25% (Lucidpress). On the flip side, most businesses that fail within their first decade share a common weakness: scattered, forgettable branding that never built a foundation for growth.
Strong brand design doesn’t just make you look professional. It gives you confidence to sell, credibility to compete, and space to grow.

The E3 Product: Three Brand Design Assets To Build Your Business

The E3 isn’t theory—it’s a practical starter kit that equips you with the three essentials every business needs.
  1. A Professional Logo
    • Clean, versatile, and memorable.
    • Looks sharp on digital and print.
    • Scales with your business as you grow.
  2. A Simple Website
    • Mobile-friendly and search-ready.
    • Explains what you do and how to reach you.
    • A lean, strategic digital footprint that gives you visibility.
  3. An Effective Business Card
    • Well designed, brand-aligned business cards.
    • Contact information and QR code for easy connecting.
    • Give prospects something to remember you by.

Together, these three assets create a brand design system that works in unison—credibility in the room, visibility online, and recognition in your market.

Why The Entrepreneurial 3ssentials Are Your Best Bet

Starting a business is hard enough without wasting energy on guesswork. The truth is, you don’t need everything on day one—you just need the essentials.
The E3 is built to give new businesses three things:
  • Recognition – A logo that makes your business instantly identifiable.
  • Credibility – A website that shows your product and professionalism.
  • Clarity – A business card that keeps your message sharp and shareable.

These assets work together to turn your idea into a business people trust. They’re affordable, effective, and built to grow with you.
Since 2022, we’ve helped entrepreneurs across industries—from healthcare to real estate, from creative freelancers to independent agents—gain traction with the E3. The formula works because it’s simple: build your brand, grow your business.
Your idea deserves more than survival—it deserves momentum. The Entrepreneurial 3ssentials give you the brand design foundation to stand out, attract better customers, and grow with confidence.
